ExpenT Terms of Use
Effective 10 August 2026
These terms apply to ExpenT, provided by Aceaum Solutions Private Limited, India.
Acceptance
By using ExpenT, the user agrees to these terms. A user who does not agree should not grant optional permissions and should discontinue use.
Personal expense utility
ExpenT helps users record and organise expenses. It is not a bank, payment service, accounting system, tax adviser, investment adviser, or financial adviser and does not initiate or authorise payments.
Review records
Automated capture, extraction, categorisation, duplicate detection, and refund matching may be incomplete or incorrect because message formats vary. Users must review records before relying on, exporting, or submitting them.
Permissions and lawful use
Grant access only on devices and accounts you are authorised to use. Do not use ExpenT to monitor another person without their knowledge or permission or for an unlawful purpose.
Local data and backups
The user is responsible for protecting the device and keeping recoverable backups. Uninstalling, clearing storage, losing the device, or deleting an unbacked-up record may permanently remove information.
Intellectual property
ExpenT's original software, design, name, and branding belong to Aceaum or its licensors. Third-party components retain their open-source licences.
Availability, warranty, and liability
Features may change with bank formats, Android behaviour, security requirements, and store policies. To the extent permitted by law, ExpenT is provided as available without a warranty that capture is uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular accounting, reimbursement, legal, or tax purpose. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Aceaum is not responsible for indirect loss caused by reliance on an unreviewed record or failure to keep a backup, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India without limiting mandatory consumer rights. Questions: expentsupport@aceaum.com.
